This just in: I'm still alive

I've been lost in the mountains for weeks - that's why I haven't blogged! Okay, maybe not. I really have no excuse. It's kind of like taking out my trash - I just didn't get around to it until people started to worry. No, I've been a complete slacker. Last week, I went to Hershey, PA and Chicago, IL and just got back yesterday. I love going to Chicago because I know each time that if I drive in Chicago traffic and live to tell about it, God has a very special plan for my life. Anyway, it was a business trip, but lots of fun too. Then, today I went hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountains (hence the picture). I will post more later - I'm not really feeling creative right now, but due to the comments, I felt it necessary to confirm that I was indeed alive.

*Sob* I was so worried! I am glad some one finaly found you stranded. Did they bring you good food?
And what kind of an excuse is traveling? I thought that was the whole reason for creating this blog!? And jeez, like the Hershey and Chicago shows are that big - only 2 days each! ;-)

That is really funny about Chicago traffic (and true!)...anyways...*Sob* I am so relieved you're alive...now we all know you weren't abducted by aliens or anything like that. However...you really need to keep in mind the stress you have caused your reading public due to your LONG and INEXPLICABLE silence on your blog. The extreme mental suffering will take a while to
recover from, I'm afraid...I'll send you the bill for the therapy I'm gonna need...

Dr. Phil said that I need to change my whole routine and only check your blog monthly. However, this will take time, as immediate withdrawal will cause extreme mental anguish. Over the course of the next 2 weeks, I am to wean myself from reading your blog. *gulp* Tomorrow will be the first day that I don't have "Long gone forever, and then an extra day" in my routine! *SOB* *siffle* *wheeze* So long, my absent blogger. It will be a long 24 hours till I read again. Please don't make this habit any harder to quit than it should be! Don't prolong my agony!

Due to the fact that my therapist is no where near on par with Dr. Phil, out of the goodness of my heart I'm going to NOT send you a bill for MY therapy...you can forward that $ to Terra instead as I imagine her therapy is going to get pretty expensive...(I can be so magnanimous).

Okay..I'm not quite as obsessive as these other women, but I AM glad to see ya back. I grew up traveling the U.S. and I love to hear your stories. It brings back so many memories. Hershey was always one of my favorite places. Then again...nearly anywhere in Colorado other than Denver is heaven. No need to send money for therapy...I have good friends who will listen for free.

Disappeared again, hmm? This is so sad... ;-)

Are you going to just keep this whole 3 weeks between posts routine or what? It's very difficult to try and quit a habit when the habit is not available!

You and Leah must have a competition going...
